Growing up, my family did not attend any church, so I knew very little about Jesus until July 1982, when Village Missionary Norm Sears introduced me to the Lord at the age of 27. Within 6 months, I was teaching Sunday School. Soon, my wife and I began leading youth group. A few years later, I was asked to join the church leadership team. What an adventure! I love the Word of God and have taken an assortment of courses to enhance my understanding of scripture and theology. I love my church and I love the people here, especially the way they minister to each other. As a church elder, I look forward to sharing messages from the pulpit when needed.
