In 1999, I met Elder Roy Bell While watching our sons play baseball, he invited me to the Pahrump Community Church. I was invited again by my daughter, Katriese, who had attended the church. She said I would love Pastor Bauer’s preaching and humor, and I did! I became a born-again Christian with his leading in January 2001, and was baptized in March. I was excited to serve the Lord and became involved in the Nursery Ministry, Music Ministry, and Sunday School. I began working for CCA as a teacher in 2002, then later as administrative assistant. I became the Preschool director in 2007, and have continued to happily serve in this capacity ever since. I love our church—they are my family. I am still growing as a Christian here because of the consistent weekly teaching of God’s Word.
